Here’s another two videos of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and also the McLaren MP4-12C from Goodwood Festival of Speed. The first video shown above is the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG doing a little hill climb sprinting at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. With the on board camera mounted on top of the dashboard you can hear the engine roar of the SLS AMG blasting around the circuit.
The second video shown below is the McLaren MP4-12C driven by the F1 World Champion Jenson Button and also Lewis Hamilton. This is the first official drive public appearance of the McLaren MP4-12C and boy this car is really fast. The MP4-12C is powered by a 600hp twin turbo 3.8Liter V8 engine that delivers a massive 599Nm of torque. The car is capable of reach a century sprint time of 3.8seconds with a top speed of over 300km/h.
Looks like both car manufacturers used the Goodwood Festival of Speed to showcase its cars to the public as an excellent promotional tool to attract potential buyers to sign their cheque book. Truly a rich boy’s club scene. Enjoy the videos.
