Proton Saga:

The exterior paint is painted in Pearl White colour with black coloured roof top, front grille and also on the vertical area of the trunk lid. Besides that, there is a new 14” alloy wheel design to complement the changes on the outside with further added strip of “Tiger” theme on the side of the car
Interior
To add the specialty and uniqueness of this car, Proton has added a brown with orange hue genuine leather seat and door trim to the car which mimic some of the hue of the Malaysian tiger. The change on the inside also brings a new meter combi graphic and also a new light blue LCD display on the head unit of the car.
Proton Persona:
Exterior
As I have mentioned on the earlier part of this post, the exterior colour of this car also carries the same theme with the Proton Saga and the changes also identical i.e. new alloy wheel design, and also black coloured roof, front grille and also on the vertical side of the trunk lid.
Interior
The Proton Persona also carries the same leather seat and door trim treatment as what has been seen on the Proton Saga. The changes on the inside includes a new blackout meter combi design and also a new color LCD display on the head unit with the radio knob lighting is in blue purplish in colour as compared to an orange colour audio knob illumination as seen on the Persona Elegance.
Proton Exora:
Exterior
The exterior treatment of this car carries the same theme as the rest of the special edition car with the only changes seen is the ‘blackout’ headlamp housing that adds to the aggressive styling of the front end of the car. Beside that, this special edition Exora, has been installed with full round of body kit to further enhance the sportiness of this MPV. To complete the transformation, a new alloy wheel design was employs to enhance it appearance.
Interior:
Now this is what I truly love about this new Proton Exora 25th Anniversary special edition MPV. The Proton Exora still carries the same leather seat and door trim treatment as what we have seen on the Saga and the Persona. The major changes is more on the ICE with the standard 2-DIN Clarion radio has been change to a touch screen 2-DIN radio that able to play DVD movies, satellite navigation and also a connection with a reverse camera that has been installed near the tail gate lever of the Proton Exora. Besides that, there is a touch screen LCD screen on both headrest of the front passenger seat that give a touch of class and luxury to the 2nd row occupant of this MPV.
Besides that, there is a new blackout meter combi design on this Exora with the meter combi illumination is now in white light as compared to the orange and red illumination of the standard Exora unit. The highlight of the interior of this special edition Exora is the “Captain Seat” which shares the same design like what we have seen on the Proton Exora Prime Concept. With this inclusion of the “Captain Seat”, now the Proton Exora is dubbed as a 6 seater instead of 7 seater. The next changes that we can see, is a new centre console decorative treatment that features an organic design instead of plain silver colour or light bronze colour on the “Medium Line” of the standard model. Besides that, if you look closely, the dashboard is now is black in colour as oppose to the old dashboard theme of grey colour. To finish up these added features, there is a rain sensor being installed with the car and this is the first features in a Proton car.
With the explanation of all three models above, I can truly say that the Proton Exora is much a better buy compared to the Persona and also the Saga. With all the features that have been installed to this car, it will surely make any existing Exorian out there full of envy. Since this blog post has been issued slightly earlier than the exact launching, I still haven’t got the indication price of this three special edition. I do hope Proton price this car right and not put the price too high or too low that might loose its exclusivity.
With this blog post, I want to congratulate Proton for its 25th Anniversary celebration where Proton has managed to be the national pride even when it is on its highs and lows. Let’s hope Proton to stay on course for the next 25 years and more to be one of the global leaders in the auto industry and pride and joy of the nation.
Happy Birthday Proton once again from my sincere heart.
