We are only days before the people of Malaysia storms the door of Putra World Trade Centre for the KLIMS 2010 show. Among the biggest exhibitors will be Proton where it will showcase one of the largest displays during the event.
According to Proton’s MD, Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, Proton will be showcasing 20 vehicles including concept cars, show cars, rally cars and electric vehicles at its booth. This is in line with Proton year long 25th Anniversary celebration and what would be the best way to end the celebration with a big bash like this. Datuk Syed also added that, “Proton has come a long way over the last 25 years, and the display at the KLIMS is to share our accomplishment with all Malaysians.
Besides that, the display booth at KLIMS 2010 will also highlight the Proton road map for the future to give the visitors an insight view into some of the latest technology and vehicles being develop by Proton. "A key area we also intend to profile is technology acquisition. We hope visitors will be able to see, understand and appreciate that its application goes beyond the creation of new vehicle models," further elaborated by Proton’s MD.
Besides the car showcase, Proton also will setup a lifestyle boutique at the booth where visitors can purchase Proton merchandises and also a live styling studio that enables Proton cars owners to customise their own Proton cars.
Looks like it’s going to be a very big showcase from Proton. Based on my sources, some of the cars that will be filled the big space would be the all new Proton Saga facelift, Proton Inspira Police car concept, Proton EMAS, Proton Hybrid vehicles, Exora Extended Range EV vehicles, Proton Satria Neo S2000 rally car, 5 new Lotus car line up and most probably what would be the most anticipated model, the Proton Persona R clay model.
