The Indian car market is one of the fastest growing car segment markets in the world now where most people there ditching out their motorcycles and moving up to a four wheeler. Remember my post about the all new Toyota Etios that has been launched on 1st December 2010. The car was a real deal for the Indian consumers with a value for money and sports quite reasonably looking sedan car. The most shocking truth is, the waiting period of owning the car is 6 months and these sales numbers was achieve without the people actually driving a test drive car. Gosh, this is so frantic and no wonders why Proton is very eager to enter the Indian market. The latest rounds of report stating that Proton will venture to the Indian market starting from next year where rumours has been whistling to my ears that Proton has sent a few cars to study the road condition, i.e. HNT testing before they enter the Indian market. Hopefully our national car maker can make an impact there of un tap phenomenal growth.
