Bermaz Motor Sdn. Bhd. will kick off its activity in the year 2011 with the launch of Mazda 3 CKD on 2nd of March 2011. The launch will take place at 1 Utama Highstreet New Wing with its Mazda Motor Show will kick off soon after it. This Motor Show will last till 6th of March 2011 and during the launch, Bermaz Motor will launch 2 variants of Mazda 3 CKD namely the hatchback form and also the sedan form.
Based on the initial information that I have received, the CKD model was assemble at Inokom car manufacturing plant in Kulim Kedah and this model will received a substantial upgrade in terms of equipment and there is a possibility of price reduction of the CKD Mazda 3 compared to the CBU version from Japan. Production of CKD was started in January 2011 and the first batch of CKD cars will be available at your nearest Mazda showroom soon.
