Tan Chong Motors to establish new manufacturing plant in Sabah!!!


Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd (TCMH) has started its manufacturing program in East Malaysia by establishing new manufacturing complex to manufacture four wheel drive vehicles in Sabah near the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park that expected to be completed in three years from now.

This establishing of new manufacturing complex would involved an investment worth RM 285 million and this will create 500 new jobs openings. Therefore, the local residents should take up these opportunities and help the government draw more big companies to invest here, State Industrial Development Minister Datuk Raymond Tan Shu Kiah said today.

Tan, who is a member of the State Legislative Assembly for Tanjung Papat, said "Manpower aspects become a priority for any companies making an investment and the state government assures them that this requirement will be met. TCMH, the sole distributor and manufacturer of Nissan vehicles in Malaysia, promised TCMH will provide the infrastructure needed which includes sufficient electricity supply," he told reporters after the Tan Chong Motor Assembly Career Opportunities Programme here
