Peugeot to extend the operation of service center for 1 month-Full Press Release

Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of the Peugeot brand in Malaysia, will launch an extended hours service campaign from May 27, 2011 until June 26, 2011.

This new campaign will see selected Peugeot service centres open for extended hours on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the campaign period.

For Fridays and Saturdays, these Peugeot service centres will extend their operating hours to 8:30 am to 8 pm. For Sundays, these Peugeot service centres will be open from 8:30 am to 7 pm.

“This initiative, which runs in tandem with the school holiday period, will provide our customers with more flexibility when it comes to servicing their cars,” said Dato’ Samson Anand George, COO of Nasim.

The extended hours service campaign is only for standard servicing while all customers who send their car in during this period will receive a free 20-point check-up.

There will also be mystery gifts for customers who send their cars in for an oil change during the campaign period while customers who spend over RM100 will also receive a free Peugeot Racing umbrella.

The outlets participating for this campaign are Nasim Bluebox Glenmarie, KS Peugeot Blue Box, Nasim Ampang, Nasim Puchong, NZ Wheels, Nasim Juru Auto-City, Nasim Ipoh, Chin Cars 3S Centre, Nasim Plentong, Ang Leng Motor Trading, KS Kemaman and Nasim Kuching.

Customers who choose to take advantage of this extended hours service campaign are advised to make appointments with the relevant service centres before sending their cars in.

Meanwhile, following the successful response at the Discover Peugeot 3008 seminar held in Subang in March, Nasim held a Peugeot Customer Day seminar in Ipoh on May 22.

Like the Discover Peugeot 3008 seminar, the Peugeot Customer Day in Ipoh is part of a new aftersales initiative by Nasim aimed at providing its customers with an in-depth understanding of their vehicles as well as essential maintenance tips.

“The Peugeot Customer Day in Ipoh is a part of an initiative that we began earlier this year to educate our customers on their cars. It is essential that our customers get the very best out of their vehicles and in the coming months, we will host similar seminars in other parts of the country,” said Dato’ Samson.

The two-hour long seminar in Ipoh, which attracted over 50 Peugeot customers and was held at the Peugeot Blue Box in Ipoh, included a presentation on various safety features in a Peugeot that are designed to minimise injury to the driver and passengers.

During the presentation, the customers were also briefed on Nasim’s network expansion plans and the benefits of being a Peugeot Privilege member.

Following the presentation, the customers were taken through a practical session whereby they were shown the proper methods in changing tires, jump-starting a flat battery, re-programming their keys, checking engine oil, power steering and coolant levels.

Among the cars on display during the practical session was a 407, 207, 3008, 5008 and two units of the 308 Turbo.

In addition, there was sand art and colouring activities for children as well as the new RCZ on display where customers were allowed to take photos with the internationally-acclaimed coupe and were given print-outs of the photos.
