PRESS RELEASE: Nissan Safety Campaign Continues To East Malaysia

Following the successful launch of the 2014 Nissan Safety Campaign in Peninsular Malaysia, Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) continues the Campaign to East Malaysia with the objective of raising awareness and to enhance essential road safety skills in Sabah and Sarawak.

Since the 2014 Campaign launched on 26 April 2014, ETCM has carried out Road Survival Workshops and Children Safety Workshops at Legoland Malaysia Resort in Johor Bahru (Southern Region), Road Survival Workshops in Penang (Northern Region), Petaling Jaya (Central Region) and Kuantan (Eastern Region). To date, each event received overwhelming response, with a total attendance of approximately 700 participants.

Dato’ David Chen, Executive Director of ETCM, said, “We at ETCM are delighted to once again bring the Nissan Safety Campaign, where we hope to share and communicate key road safety messages to Malaysian road users which will certainly be beneficial when it comes to staying safe on the road. After holding four events in Peninsular Malaysia, the Nissan Safety Campaign will now be heading to East Malaysia. ETCM, as a customer-focused organization, aims to bring this Safety Campaign to as many Nissan owners as possible, and at the end of the Campaign, we aim to draw at least 1,000 participants throughout the entire period.”

The Road Survival Workshop, organised by ETCM and conducted by Captain K. Balasupramaniam, Founder of Road Safety Marshal Club, provides valuable tips and advice on road safety. It focuses on educating participants on how to handle life-threatening situations based on the real-life incidents of road accidents, to better prepare drivers.

The dates and venues for the coming Nissan Safety Campaign 2014 workshops in East Malaysia are as follows:
