PRESS RELEASE: Lexus Malaysia Opens Eighth Outlet Lexus Melaka!!

Lexus Malaysia marked another milestone today when it officially launched its eighth Lexus outlet in Malaysia. Lexus Melaka, the newest outlet is a full-fledged sales and service centre with all the luxurious amenities and state of the art technologies associated with a Lexus centre. 

On hand to witness the opening ceremony were Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin, Chairman of UMW Toyota Motor, Datuk Takashi Hibi, Deputy Chairman of UMW Toyota Motor and Datuk Ismet Suki, President of UMW Toyota Motor. Also present were dealer principal of Hiewa Auto Gallery Sdn Bhd, the operators of Lexus Melaka; Mr Wong Ngee Fat, Managing Director of Hiewa Auto Gallery and Miss Yong Siew Fong, Director of Hiewa Auto Gallery Sdn Bhd. 

The new outlet in Melaka is the third outlet to be launched this year by Lexus Malaysia, following the launch of outlets in Ipoh and in Kuching. Speaking at the launch of the third Lexus centre, Datuk Ismet Suki said, “To be opening three state-of-the-art Lexus centres in one year is a significant feat which marks our commitment towards the Lexus brand and to our customers.”

Hiewa Auto Gallery Sdn Bhd, the dealer and operator of Lexus Melaka has been in business with UMW Toyota Motor since 2005 with the launch of the Toyota showroom in Tebrau. The partnership was further strengthened when in 2011; Hiewa Auto Gallery Sdn Bhd expanded to become a full-fledged 3S centre, and in the same year opened another Toyota outlet at Kota Tinggi. With this vast experience of working with Hiewa Auto Gallery Sdn Bhd and their excellent track record in sales and after sales, the company was granted the Lexus dealership in Melaka. 

Lexus Melaka is a double story building with a land size that measures in at 87,119 square feet and with a total built up area of 30,000 square feet. It features mezzanine floor and luxurious amenities like a customer lounge, a business centre as well as a cafe where Lexus guests are served with refreshing food and beverages. It also features four service bays so guests do not have to spend too much time waiting for their cars to be prepared. The new centre also lives up to the hospitality expected of a Lexus centre that abides by international standards and is staffed by a team of 14 highly trained in five-star hospitality and the finest engineers in the business. 

Also speaking at the launch of the new showroom was Miss Yong Siew Foong, Director of Hiewa Auto Gallery Sdn Bhd who said, “For Lexus, luxury is more than a statement of wealth, status or ownership. Visitors to Lexus Melaka can not only expect to be greeted by a friendly welcome, but can also expect to view some of the finest and most popular Lexus models that include the luxurious Lexus LS and GS, the ever popular Lexus ES and the RX SUV, the sporting performance Lexus IS as well as recently launched Lexus RC. Of particular interest is the upcoming Lexus NX sports SUV which will be launched in January, where the order taking started in October and currently have close to 200 units order signed.
