Limited Edition Ferrari, Scuderia Ferrari One by Cabestan!!

After its break up with Panerai, Ferrari is looking for a new watch maker partner and their new found love would be with Jean-Francios Ruchonnet on behalf of Cabestan, Recent news has confirmed that the deal has been signed and Ferrari will soon have its watches made by the boutique luxury watch brand. The designer for the watch is Ruchonnet and shown above are his prototype.

This watch will be called the Scuderia Ferrari One by Cabestan and it is based on a design combination of the new Cabestan Nostromo and the existing Cabestan Winch Vertical Tourbillon and for this particular watch, it has been influenced by the modern Ferrari design and technology. The middle part of the watch which looks like a bridge is made of carbon fiber and the straps were made by the same leather used for the seats and steering wheel of Ferrari cars.

Rumors are saying the watch will be retailed at 300,000 euros and only 60 units will be produce with the watch movement to have an extremely accurate for a mechanical watch at about plus or minus one second per day. On how to watch the time using this watch, well the time is told on rotating vertically aligned barrels. Now that is what I call cool. According to Cabestan, the watch will only be available to Ferrari clients as what we have seen for any special model such as the Enzo, as it can only be bought by selective Ferrari client.
