Honda upgrades the Honda Insight to counter negetive feedback of the car suspension


The new Honda Insight has been launched 2 years ago and Honda UK has announced that the five door hatch will received an improvement to the suspension system to enhance its ride and comfort and also upgrades to its interior trim. This new upgrades was based on response from the media and also the early customers that the car suspension have give a negative feedback and also lack of ride and comfort.


In terms of improvement made to the ride, handling and stability, Honda engineers has altered the recoil rate of the springs, rear camber angles, and also changing the V-shape rear suspension brace and adjusting mounts. As for the interior, the Honda Insight gets a new dashboard with the plastic has seen some improvement to its quality, a new chrome ring surrounding to the air vents, a new seat colour and also the door has been added a silver garnish features to its trim.


For the UK Honda Insight, for ES-model and above, there will be a standard rear parking sensors, with its range topper EX model will get a leather upholstery treatment and also a DVD sat-Nav with hand-free telephone function with an addition to 2 new exterior colours namely Dynamic Blue Pearl and also Carnelian Red Pearl.


This revise Honda Insight production will start this July in Japan with no clear indication that these changes are solely for European specs or it will be standardize globally.
