After not so long ago, Lotus Group Plc has announce its top management reshuffle with all of its top management coming from the cream of the cream in the automotive industry backed with its five year turn around program to make the Lotus brand a premier high performance car, looks like Lotus is ready to take on the automotive industry big time.

Shown above are the some of the speculation of the new Lotus Esprit concept and it is rumored that Lotus would be unveiling the new Esprit at the upcoming Paris Auto Show in September 2010. From these pictures, we can see the idea coming from Lotus new design director Donato Coco which is a real transformation from the current design language of Lotus cars.

Looking at how Lotus is currently manage but a very high rank top gun in the automotive industry, and it’s very ambitious plan, I am very excited to look at what is installed from Lotus and what it can offered back to its parent company Proton Holdings of Malaysia. We are now entering a very exciting phase in the automotive industry. Good luck Lotus.

This new Lotus Esprit will replace its successor which was built from 1976 to 2004 and this car is famous for the movie “For Your Eyes Only” staring Roger Moore. It is also rumored that the new Esprit will be powered by yet another Toyota engine and it is suspected to be powered with the same engine that Toyota powered its monstrous Lexus LF-A. In the hands of Lotus, Lotus is expected to tune the engine to produce in excess of 500hp and the body of the car will use the same Aluminum bonded technology which is currently available in the Elise. Besides the new Esprit, Lotus is also expected to unveil two new front engine GT cars during the Paris Motor show.
