Among the biggest exhibitors at KLIMS 2010 was Nissan booth. It displays a wide range of vehicles be it already on the market or vehicles that might see the day in Malaysia road. Thanks to ETCM (Edaran Tan Chong Motors) I have been invited during the press day of KLIMS 2010 to witness the launch of the all new Nissan 370Z roadster. The car was officiated by the Minister of Transport Datuk Seri Kong Chong Ha which was accompanied by Dato Ang Boon Beng ETCM Executive Director.

The Nissan 370Z roadster is a two seater convertibles with a fully automatic power operated soft top which can be fully close or open in 20 seconds for a more exhilarated of open air driving Among the features that seen an improvement compared to its predecessor, is a shorter wheelbase and a wider track that provides the 370Z a quick, nimble response, smooth, predictable linearity and precise handling, a reduced weight, a 7 speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters mated to an advanced VQ37VHR 3.7 Litre engine that produce 333ps and 363Nm of torque on its wheels.

The all new Nissan 370Z Roadster is a available in a choice of 7 body colours; Brilliant White, Premium Deep Maroon, Diamond Black, Metal Grey, Premium Leman Blue, Brilliant Silver and Vibrant Red. Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) today launched the fully imported all-new NISSAN 370Z ROADSTER - a dashing two-seater convertible with a fully automatic power-operated soft top at the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2010 (KLIMS 2010). The 370Z Roadster offers the exhilaration of open-air driving, high performance and dynamic design for the ultimate driving pleasure.

Like the 370Z Coupe, the new generation Roadster features significant improvements in performance, style and technology in comparison with the previous model. With its shorter wheelbase, reduced weight, 7-speed A/T with paddle shifters and an advanced VQ37VHR 3.7L engine, it gives exceptional levels of acceleration and handling, while providing a comfortable interior with minimum wind buffeting – even with the top open. The power-operated top only takes approximately 20 seconds from start-to-finish and is controlled by either a centre console-mounted switch. The automatic roof function locks and releases the top from the windshield header without driver intervention.
