A showcase of Nissan's Advance design at KLIMS 2010


As I have mentioned on the previous post, ETCM has brought in a host vehicles selection to be showcase at KLIMS 2010 to show to Malaysian people the Nissan design philosophy with a booth design theme dubbed “Air Sequence” which means “Changing the scenery by movement” or design that is changing gradually. This theme was in line with Nissan brand and visual identity standard following the same theme which has been showcase in Tokyo Motor Show 2009.


Among the car that ETCM showcases in the Nissan Juke with a very unique styling that offers a new look in the compact SUV category. The rear end design is very please to the eyes with only the front end look that needs to be get used to. It features a small front vanity light with a large round headlamp on its front bumpers with imposing fenders that makes the Juke stands out with bold design and strong imagery. The car was powered by and all new 1.6Litre direct injection gasoline turbo (DIG-T) mated with a new generation Xtronic CVT transmission and sports tuned suspension.

The Juke features “Intelligent Control Display” a versatile multi function information system that provides updated driving information such as mileage, which in turn acts as a central control panel for the cabin environment and for dynamic drive setting. Drivers of Juke also can select their own preference driving mode with 3 available modes mainly the Normal, Sports and Eco-drive. Nissan has announced that the Juke will be produces in Indonesia and during the launch of the all new Nissan 370Z, ETCM has announced the Juke will makes it official appearance here in Malaysia next year.

The next car that was on Nissan stage is the Nissan March, a model that will be offered by Nissan globally. The car has been launched in April this year at Thailand International Motor Show and the car has been produced there in Thailand that boast breakthrough packaging and small car engineering retaining its compact dimension, the car is slightly longer and marginally lower while its wheelbase has been design “wheels at each corner” that translated to a roomier interior. In terms of the engine, the car received a newly developed 1.2 Litre 3 cylinder engine HR12DE engine mated with both manual and automatic transmission.

Moving on, the next display will be the King of MPV, the Nissan Elgrand this new-generation Elgrand imparts a strong luxury presence with a welcoming sense of hospitality and comfort for driver and passengers alike. The interior offers a number of features designed specifically for passenger comfort that include unique, multi-function high quality seats with leg rests. In addition to comfort, the new Elgrand offers class-leading fuel efficiency and dynamic performance, thanks to a specially-tuned 3.5L V6 engine and Xtronic CVT transmission system with a 6-speed manual mode.

Besides the Elgrand, Juke, March and 370Z, ETCM also showcases the recently launched Nissan Teana, award winning all new Nissan X-Trail and also the very elegent SUV the Nissan Murano. Enjoy the gallery of Nissan Advance Design after the jump
