Official distributor for Kia vehicles in Malaysia, Naza Kia Malaysia Sdn Bhd, is set to launch the much anticipated All New Grand Carnival before the end of the first quarter of 2017.
The launch of the All New Grand Carnival is set to make a bold entrance into the MPV market segment. It will also spearhead and set the tone and direction of Naza Kia Malaysia’s sales for 2017.
“Despite 2016 being a challenging year for Kia in Malaysia, we managed to contain a better percentage than the national total industry volume’s negative growth. For 2017, we have forecasted our sales volume to increase by 25% and the All New Grand Carnival will play a pivotal role in achieving this target,” said Dato’ Samson Anand George, Group Chief Operating Officer, Automotive Group, Naza Corporation Holdings Sdn Bhd.
The All New Grand Carnival will see a breath of fresh air in improvements in design and styling both on the external and the interior. It is also fitted with top notch quality materials with leather seats, power sliding door and tailgate, 3rd row passenger easy access system – one touch standing second row seats, push start button, HID head lamps with Daytime Running Lights and improved safety features including 6 airbags, electronic stability control and hill-start assist system.
One notable key feature of the All New Grand Carnival is the engineers’ articulation of the masterful use of space in the interior. This eight-seater handsome MPV offers supreme comfort and generous legroom capacity with ample luggage space even with eight adults on board. This 2.2 Litre CRDi variable geometry turbo-charged diesel engine provides 190 horsepower with 440 Nm of torque, answering the calls for both powerful and yet economical people mover.
Some of the alluring accolades of the All New Grand Carnival are the JD Power Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) award, Top Safety Pick from the U.S. Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the 2015 Ward’s 10 Best Interiors award. The MPV has also been awarded a maximum five-star safety rating by independent crash test authority ANCAP and NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration).
Naza Kia Malaysia have open bookings for the All New Grand Carnival and can be done at all Naza Kia outlets in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.
