Apart from Subaru, another Japanese company has unveiled its latest concept which is the Nissan Ellure concept. The Nissan Ellure features an aerodynamic body design which to me has some hint to the design of the Hyundai Avante especially the side profile. Beside the aerodynamic design, Nissan has put a suicide door for this car which I think will be missing when the car moves on into production mode. The roof of the car was made of glass and the wheels are 21 inch five spoke aluminium wheels.
On the interior, Nissan has made the cabin a more futuristic look like any concept car which Nissan cabin has a tri colour design theme, a full length in panel design from end to end, a lounge like rear seat with a front passenger forward facing ottoman seat and a floating centre console. In terms of suspension, the Nissan Ellure features an independent suspension, an advanced drive by wire electric/hydraulic steering system and also regenerative braking to charge the battery.
During the enveiling, the car on show does not have a powetrain yet, but according to Nissan, the car will be powered by a supercharged 2.5 litre in line four cylinder engine and a 25kW of electric motor for Hybrid powertrain that is mated with Nissan Xtronic CVT gearbox. More pics and video after the jump.
