Perodua today has launched the latest edition of the Perodua Viva dubbed the Perodua Viva Elite Exclusive Edition during the opening of its new 2S centre in Puchong. The Perodua Viva Elite Exclusive Edition is an enhance version from the Perodua Viva Elite that was launch way back in July 2009. The Perodua Viva Elite has been the models’s best seller with a total cumulative sales of 240,000 units has been shift out from the Perodua factory in Sungai Choh.
In 2010, Perodua has managed to sell 58,000 units of Viva and with the latest edition; Perodua hopes it can sell a total of 600 units per month. The Viva Exclusive Edition comes with new enhancement both inside and out with the cabin has been furnished with leather upholstery seat with embroidered detailing and special stitching and a leather wrap 3 spoke steering wheel.
Besides the leather upholstery, the dashboard has seen an upgrade feel with a silvered coloured trim around the shifter and also on the door armrest. One of the most unique features that can only be found on the Viva Elite Exclusive edition was the instrument panel which has seen some metal grey colour which has uplift a sense of expensiveness.
In terms of body colour, the new variant comes with three new colours which is Classy Purple, Midnight Blue and Ivory White as well as custom coloured alloy wheels. The price set by Perodua was RM 42,000 OTR Peninsular Malaysia which essentially share the same price category with Hyundai i10, Kia Picanto, Suzuki Alto and our local breed Proton Saga which will launch its facelift model soon during the KL International Motor Show (KLIMS) 2010.
