PRESS RELEASE: Naza Kia Kick Off With Fuleco Friend Search Contest!!!




Naza Kia Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is taking the World Cup fever one notch up by kicking off Fuleco Friend Search, the search for one lucky child to escort Fuleco, the FIFA World Cup Mascot onto the pitch during the Semi Final game in Brazil.

This opportunity of a lifetime is only for a Malaysian child aged between 8-12 years and an accompanying parent through an on-ground contest at Piazza e-Curve, Mutiara Damansara on 26th April, at 3pm. This contest is the first-of-its-kind in Malaysia where a child gets to walk onto the pitch and be part of the FIFA World Cup.

Only one winning pair of child and parent will be announced at the contest and the winners will get an all-expense paid trip to Brazil which will include flight tickets, accommodation, a city tour and tickets to the World Cup Semi Finals match. More excitingly, the child will get unprecedented bragging rights on escorting Fuleco onto the pitch at the biggest sporting event of 2014!

Those interested in participating in the Fuleco Friend Search can pre-register online at Kia Malaysia’s Facebook App at www.fulecofriendsearch.com from now until 25th April, and turn up on 26th April at e-Curve, Mutiara Damansara where parents will battle it out in a very simple competition. 

In conjunction with Kia Motors’ partnership with the 2014 World Cup, Naza Kia Malaysia launched an umbrella campaign called World Cup Rocks with Kia earlier this year. Fuleco Friend Search is part of the campaign, along with Champs to Rio, a futsal tournament where the winning team will get to play against international futsal teams in Brazil, Cheer with Kia, a World Cup Viewing party and 2014 World Cup Roadshow, a carnival-like roadshow which features more chances to win a trip to experience the World Cup in Brazil.
