Volkswagen Group Malaysia yesterday announced that it is the “Official Car” for local broadcaster 8TV’s latest reality TV programme, ‘Let’s Cycle’.
Volkswagen Group Malaysia will be providing a total of 4 vehicles for the entire duration of the film production, which include the locally assembled Polo Sedan and the new Polo 1.6, as well as the Cross Touran and the Tiguan.
Ms Petra Schreiber, Marketing and Communications Director of Volkswagen Group Malaysia shares, “The Volkswagen product portfolio features engines that are powerful, yet fuel efficient and have low CO2 emissions following our Think Blue approach. The ‘Let’s Cycle’ programme promotes an environmentally-conscious approach to living which is in line with our Think Blue philosophy. This is an excellent collaboration opportunity in order to continue encouraging Malaysians on the importance of sustainability and caring for the environment.”
This all-new 13-episode reality TV series will see local personalities Baki Zainal and Rickman Chia traverse a total of approximately 2,315 km across all 11 states in Peninsular Malaysia. Along the way, they will not just explore the country on bicycle whilst promoting healthy living but will also be raising awareness of environmentally-friendly activities across the nation.
