The Perodua Viva receives the “Value-For-Money Car of the Year (1.3L and below)” award for the 7th year at the Frost & Sullivan’s Malaysia Award Ceremony here tonight.
“My team and I are delighted yet humbled by the recognition given to the Perodua Viva for the 7th year in a row this year,” Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said when accepting the award.
“In many ways, this award reflects our core objective of producing high quality yet affordable vehicles to Malaysians and we will continue to do so with our newer models,” Aminar said.
“Having won the “Value-for-Money Car of the Year award” since 2008, the Viva represents our commitment to offer Malaysians the most affordable overall cost of ownership,” he added.
The Perodua Viva is the most affordable entry level vehicle in the market with the Viva Basic starting from RM24,936 onwards.
The 5 variants under the Viva model each made to suit different needs of everyday Malaysians.
The Viva, which was launched in 2007 is one of the highest selling models in the country and have sold some 419,000 units since it was launched in 2007.
