Previously we have seen GM preview its all new 2012 Chevrolet Aveo at this year’s Detriot Auto Show with only the Aveo RS Concept hatchback was the only model that takes the centre stage. This newly discovered patent also reveals the design of the new Aveo in the form of sedan where this car features a similar profile like its bigger siblings the Cruze.
From the rear of the car, the Aveo was design with vertically stacked lamps as oppose to horizontally stack lamp that GM design for the Cruze. As for the outer door handles, the sedan will get a conventional door handles which is not the same as what has been features in the Aveo hatchback where the outer door handles were place hidden on the C-pillar of the car. Production of this new model will not start in the first half of 2011 at General Motor’s Lake Orion assembly plant north of Detroit.
